MACDONALD
ROSS
1
LIBERAL FOR QUEANBEYAN-PALERANG
Ross and his family have built a home and live on a rural block in Wamboin. He was appointed to council in 2023 as part of a count back for a causal vacancy. Since then Ross has hit the ground running, having been an active member of many Council and community committees, and has on multiple occasions successfully argued for greater support for our local community.
“Since I was elected, I’ve spent a lot of time travelling around and listening so I can understand what people in our region want out from our council.”
His career includes years in the Australian Defence Force, the private sector, not for profit sector and the Australian Public Service. Ross is a volunteer with a number of local charities and is active in many community organisations across the region.
“I’m proud to have delivered support for small businesses, seniors, community organisations and residents right across the area. I’ve been a driving force for better roads, footpaths and essential service but there’s still much more to do.”
